Many of our customers have trusted us as their financial institution of choice for many generations. At Farmers State Bank, your personal and account information is protected, and your online banking is secure. That’s just the way we have done business for more than 105 years.
Opening an Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means to you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
Farmers State Bank encourages you to take advantage of the federal government’s new rule that allows you to access a FREE credit report once every 12 months from each of the three credit reporting agencies. To find out more, click here.
